Visibility Drives Change was only the beginning. This year, we’re shifting the focus to the communities creating connection, opportunity and belonging for women in sport tech.
Our Women in Sport Tech report revealed that visibility is only one part of the story. While seeing women in leadership inspires more women to pursue careers in sport tech, our research also found that communities and networks help women enter, progress, and lead within the industry. With 55% of women already part of a professional network, Forward Together shifts the focus from individuals to the communities fuelling progress and retention across the industry.
TeamViewer is partnering with sport tech communities to celebrate the people who create spaces where women can connect, learn and support one another. Their members will feature on the TeamViewer F1 ACADEMYTM car as it races at the Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Together, they’ll represent everything their communities stand for on one of the world’s biggest sporting stages.
